Hi Kelly!
I stumbled across your blog while looking for a menu for Persian Paradise in Windsor (but then I couldn’t find anything about it on your blog– Have you been there? Is it good?)
Anyway, I’m also part of the lefty activist type community in Windsor and just thought I’d suggest a few more links for ya: http://www.madeinwindsor.wordpress.com
(Awesome local, handmade store on Ottawa St.)
http://www.villages-windsor.blogspot.com
(Blog for Ten Thousand Villages Windsor store–fair trade goods)
http://www.wwac.ca (Windsor Workers’ Action Centre–activism, socialism, etc.)
You have a great blog here!! Truly awesome!
Sarah, Thank you for the comment! I will add those links. We did go to Persian Paradise and enjoyed it. It was just your basic no-frills diner in a strip mall, but in my opinion there is no such thing as bad Persian food. I’ll take it wherever I can get it. We always have the best intentions of doing restaurant reviews. We take the photos and all that, then we don’t follow through. We will start making a bigger effort! Best, K
Hi Kelly,
it’s me again, almost a year later! I just wanted to tell you I’ve started reading your blog again! I’ve since moved from Windsor back to London and I’ve been inspired to add some cool links for London like you’ve done for Windsor to my own blog. I like reading your blog for it’s Windsor-Essex content and also just because you have a great, readable writing style! Take care!
Well, thank you! I popped in over at your blog and was gratefully reminded that I still haven’t read The Red Tent. Maybe that’s a good one for my upcoming Spring Break. K
Sarah, Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know. Have fun with your blog! :) K
It’s such an amazing book!
