I have been feeling a need to take a break from blogging for a while now. I’m not sure how long I need, I just know that I haven’t been as inspired to write lately. At the same time, I’d like to resume my old habit of writing SNAIL MAIL. I also want to dedicate time and energy to writing my way through the book Writing Down the Bones.
Please don’t think that just because I’m not coming online to read blogs or write posts that I’m not thinking of you or that you’re not close to my heart. You all are.
I leave you with some things to play with.
- Dvolver – make a little movie for free (no registration required, either!)
- Play World Instruments
- Sudoku Slam (careful – it’s addictive!)
Ciao for now!

Enjoy your time away Kelly. I notice more and more people posting less often than before. For me it’s still a chronicle of my life for me (and my decendents later, should they be interested)…Please do stay in touch.
Hugs to you and yours and wishing you enjoyable holiday time as well.
Lynn, You’re like the Energizer bunny! :) Hugs, K
kelly, i have not posted in my blog since October 30 so i guess i am taking a break too. i do still read blogs though. anyway, it is good to get away. i have been blogging at least since 2006, for many years almost every day. Love WDTB. be well, suki
Suki, I think I started in 2006 as well. I’d have to check and I’m too tired to do that right now. Heh heh. xoxo K
I had noticed a lower frequency of your treasured missives. It’s all right. I’ve been “let down easy” before. :(
Seriously, life is change, and since all of us are glad you are alive, we must accept the change that goes so inseparably with all that.
What was I talking about?
xx
Jess
:)
I think I too am taking a break, and it is for the same reason your mentioned–not inspired to write there too much and feeling as though I have to force ideas or come up with tangential things to discuss–like mushrooms! I think also that having so much personal drama that involves other people and their privacy limits what I feel comfortable writing about.
I think that we are all like this with our blogs! xoO
Hi – I had a blog called Turning into the Slide a while back and needed a break myself so I understand. I popped over here to visit after commenting elsewhere about Natalie Goldberg and thought the blogger would like to read your work. How funny that your latest post mentions Goldberg. Love those serendipitous moments. Also so good to find you are still here. I wish you a restorative break and thank you for all your inspiration.
Oh, Laura, yes. Your writing is very powerful. I remember that about it. Good to “see” you.
I understand. I only post about once a week myself. We all need to do other things :-). Have agreat break. xoxo
