Group : For those of you who are interested, this is a funny story…
Rick decided to advertise on the CMA building & when he brought the finished sign in, it was…well, let’s just say not a very good picture of him.
When I said (tactfully) that the sign may have a negative effect on business…he responded saying “well, not everyone is as handsome as Geo Clooney” !! We both laughed & then talked about the possibilities .
The sign maker said it really wasn’t really kosher to use the Clooney image & that a letter from a Clooney lawyer (someday) may be the result…but then again, George is a long way away from us, & likely more concerned about lots of other things than a little sign beside a Horton’s drive-thru in Windsor…so Rick could probably get away with it for a little while…& so (for a laugh..) that’s what he decided to do.
We’ve all had a smile about this thing while it was there & (for those of you who may be wondering about it..) Rick now has his own picture on the sign.
When you consider that about 2000 cars a day go through that drive-thru, it’s been a good way to get people talking, but was time for a change.
And although he laughed about perhaps changing it to Brad Pitt…it’s finally Rick’s own picture on his sign…at least for now !! ;)

That is too funny, I had seen that as well a while back and wondered what was going on.
The funniest part is that Paul said, “…Clooney is a long way away from us….” But actually, he is filming in Detroit and comes over here to dine on Erie Street!
Hey Kikipotamus : Actually, the sign had been changed to Rick’s picture for about 2 weeks when Geo Clooney was reported to be in the area. I sent him the newspaper story in an email saying that all the girls at Hortons are on high alet in hopes of a Clooney drive-thru sighting !!! Cheers, P.
