- New library books! I took The Differentiated Classroom back to the university library and checked out Learner-based Teaching and Using Student-centred Methods with Teacher-Centred ESL Students.
- Sylvain went out and got the one thing I was most craving for supper, and we barbecued while mama squirrel begged for nuts. I am so glad she’s still around and hasn’t been trapped by the neighbour.
- A nice bike ride home after supper.
- Sleep. Lots of good sleep.
- Chimney Swifts.

“Trapped by the neighbour” ?!
Did I miss something ?…..
Sylvain’s next door neighbour is a wonderful neighbour in that he helps Sylvain’s family A LOT by coming over and cleaning eavestroughs and things like that. They get along great, and we don’t want to make him mad. The only point of disagreement is that this neighbour wants to live-trap and relocate all the squirrels in order to protect his fruit trees. We, on the other hand, enjoy feeding squirrels. This neighbour has a live trap on top of his fence. The other day the cage had fallen into Sylvain’s yard with a squirrel inside. Of course we let the squirrel go, hoping the neighbour will think the storm blew the trap down. K
