I think a trip to this store in Ohio would be just about the most fun shopping excursion EVER. They are located in the heart of the largest Amish community in the world and have the most extensive collection of merchandise for simple living that you are going to find anywhere. They have wood stoves, badger-hair shaving brushes, pocket watches, cow bells, oil lamps, suspenders, hand-cranked ice cream makers, chuck wagon triangle bells, milk bottles, shoulder yokes, woven bike baskets, the book How to Live Without Electricity and Like It, wash boards, hand wringers… well, see for yourself.

Where could you spend hours just wandering the aisles?

I could spend my life in a guitar shop, and – alas! – I love electric guitars. The only electric thing I appreciate that much.
But apart from this – the simple life is it! Really! (did I lose credibility now?)
Is it you just dreaming of going there, or do you really intend to? How far is it?

Kelly, you are so cool! How did you find this little gem? I could spend a fortune… will puruse the aisles at my leisure and dream of a simpler life… sigh.

You can come over and play doll house with me Elizabeth and then we can go outside and ride the trikes!
